ABA Therapy
For children with autism, early intervention is crucial to ensuring they receive the right treatment that helps them over time. Behavioral Innovations practices evidence-based methods and creates data-driven, customized plans based on a child’s thorough evaluation.
When you enroll your child in our ABA center, we will compassionately work with them to help them build skills and achieve goals. Sessions happen in person at our autism centers so children can get one-on-one attention from therapists in a safe and controlled setting. In-center ABA therapy allows children to get comfortable while learning new skills and practicing them in various situations.
Social Skills Training
ABA therapy focuses on how children with autism behave and how they can develop skills and learn techniques that help them thrive at home, school and in public. Our social skills training is featured in a part-time program called Beyond the Bell. Social skills training can be highly beneficial for children with autism in several ways:
Enhances Communication Abilities: It helps improve verbal and non-verbal communication, making it easier for children to express their needs and understand others.
Improves Social Interactions: Training provides children with the tools to interact more effectively with their peers, fostering better relationships and reducing social isolation.
Increases Understanding of Social Cues: It aids in the recognition and interpretation of social cues like body language and facial expressions, enhancing their ability to respond appropriately in social situations.
Boosts Confidence and Reduces Anxiety: By developing their social skills, children with autism can gain confidence in their ability to navigate social environments, which can decrease anxiety related to social interactions.
ABA Prep
Transitioning to ABA therapy can be overwhelming, especially if you’re new to it. At Behavioral Innovations, our Bright Beginnings program supports and guides families before therapy starts by helping children build foundational ABA skills and concepts, familiarizing families with the center to ease the transition, and offering weekly sessions with a professional to continue skill development until full therapy begins.
