Dr. Mitra received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, the New Jersey Medical School. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She practiced in Philadelphia, Gaithersburg, and Baltimore for a total of 13 years before joining MedPeds. She grew up in both Connecticut and upstate New York. She is a proud mom of a little boy named James.
