The Children's Therapy Center of Columbia is a pediatric occupational therapy center specializing in sensory integration.

Our whole-child approach to care connects the pieces to provide the brightest futures possible for children diagnosed with autism. We honor all unique aspects and behaviors of a child to treat them as a whole, while building on their strengths and interests. Our multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, diagnosticians, board-certified behavior analysts, registered behavioral technicians, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists offer individualized services and support to enhance every child’s quality of life.

The program provides supports for children; adults; and seniors with a wide range of abilities including severe physical and intellectual limitations; complex medical needs and autism. All of our award-winning services and facilities are licensed by appropriate Maryland authorities. Funding is available through state sources with funding eligibility determined by the state.Our psychological services for individuals aim to decrease challenging behaviors and increase adaptive skills. Behavior plans and intervention strategies are developed with input from members of each individual team. Our counseling services help individuals develop social skills and decrease inappropriate behaviors. Our behavior management programs are written and implemented for people with developmental disabilities so that staff can support them in their day and/or residential programs. A full range of other clinical services may be secured based on individual needs and available resources.
