Our mission is to provide equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) for persons with physical; mental; emotional and developmental disabilities to enhance their quality of life. Our EAAT program continues to support and meet the high standards set by PATH International; the national organization for equine therapy programs.Our program has served the Montgomery County community and the greater Washington; DC area for over 17 years and continues to have a beneficial impact on the lives of more than 200 people annually.

Circus Camp Stars was born when Michael realized that his 2 kids who were enjoying learning to juggle in his den, would enjoy doing circus even more if they could learn and do with others their own age.  Michael called a few of his performer friends with their own young kids and told them to bring their kids and come coach.  They started in 2006 with one 5 day camp at a friend's gymnastics center in Reisterstown. And now, 14 years later, after more than 200 sessions, training approx. 4000 kids, Michael and his coaches are clearly the #11 best circus program in his town!

♦ We run fun-filled week-long day camps for kids ages 7 to 15. Details on ages, times, costs, etc. vary  by location, but camps typically run from Monday to Friday, 9 am - 4 pm, culminating in a show on Friday afternoon for friends and family. Some camps offer optional extended day programs. Thanks to our extensive network of programming partners, in our 2020 season we will operate at approx 15 locations in 8 Maryland counties, including Baltimore city and greater Washington DC. 

♦ Our seasoned circus coaches lead campers in a broad range of activities including juggling, stilt walking, unicycle riding, tightrope walking, rolla bolla, walking globe, clowning, acrobatics, and our famous pie in the face day. Hand-eye coordination, balance, and self-confidence all improve as kids realize that with practice and a positive work ethic, they can learn anything. 

♦ Some sessions offer our Big Top Buddies program geared towards younger campers, where we emphasize manipulation skills such as spinning plates, balancing feathers/sticks and juggling scarves. Acrobatics, clowning, and pie in the face day are still included, with the addition of circus-themed arts and crafts projects. 

Adventure awaits at one of Rockville's amazing summer camps. Prepare to meet new friends and have a blast at one of our many camps. Summer Blast and Park Adventures feature swimming, field trips, games, and crafts. Specialized camps include cooking, drama, science, sports, chess, magic, and more. Teens can earn SSL hours or take daily trips with Teens on the Go. With half-day, full-day, and extended-day options, we have everything you need to plan your summer adventure.

The Civil Law Center is offered the first two Tuesday mornings of each month from 9:00am – 12:00pm -  appointment recommended. However, walk-ins will be seen that day, as time permits.

When you arrive at the Circuit Courthouse, please check in at the Law Library & Legal Resource Center, located on the first floor.

A local, volunteer attorney will provide free legal assistance in a civil, non-domestic matter.  Some areas of the law that are considered civil include landlord/tenant, contract, small claims, expungement of record, agency appeal and homeowner/association matters.

Visitors must be self-represented and have low to moderate income to qualify for service
