The mission of Rooted Beginnings LLC is to empower families and their children 0-6 years to create a solid developmental foundation and help all children develop to their fullest potential. Rooted Beginnings LLC is a strengths-based, neurodivergent affirming practice that individualizes occupational therapy to your child and family’s needs. Rooted Beginnings LLC utilizes strategies including, but not limited to play-based and child-led activities, parent coaching model, ICDL DIR Floortime, sensory integration, Astronaut Training Protocol, Tummy Time! Method, and more. Rooted Beginnings LLC provides in home occupational therapy in Columbia and surrounding cities as well as in clinic at Messy Happy Music Lab in Baltimore City.

Since 2001; Rose of Sharon Equestrian School has been enhancing the lives of children with disabilities by providing opportunities for them to interact with horses in a safe; supportive; and authentic environment.Overcoming challenges while developing the knowledge and skills required to be successful when working with horses produces remarkably positive changes in physical; mental; and social/emotional health. These positive changes have a direct; beneficial impact on the quality of our student’s lives.Approximately 70% of our students are on the autism spectrum.
