The College Program for students with Asperger's Disorder is under the auspices of the Division of Outreach Services at The Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center (DDDC). Students must meet the admission requirements for the various college programs at Rutgers University; should have acquired basic independent living skills and must be motivated to contribute as full partners in their college experience.Specific support services can include (but are not limited to) the following:• Individualized orientation to campus life (i.e.; tour of campus)• Commuting to/from campus/classes; accessing the transportation system• Strategies for living in a residential facility/with a roommate• Joining recreational clubs/teams• Strategies for completing life skills (menu planning; cooking;laundry; cleaning)• Scheduling classes/study halls/other activities• Strategies for approaching professors/accessing tutors/academic supports
