I am a private practice psychotherapist with twenty years experience. I have primarily practiced in Columbia; Maryland for the last 15 years and have recently opened an office in Westminster; Maryland at 280 E. Main St.; Suite 103.Many of the children I see have developmental delays and disorders; many are on the Autism Spectrum. I provide developmental psychotherapy to help children obtain the highest social and emotional development they can. I have run social skills groups for the past few years in Columbia and am making plans to start these groups in my Westminster office.I accept most insurances including Medical Assistance.As I am downsizing my practice in Columbia; I am requesting that my home address and cell phone be used for contact purposes at this time.

Savvy Social Skills' unique and child-centered social learning program is designed for children in elementary and middle school with age-appropriate language skills. Their lessons include group activities targeting hidden social rules needed to establish and maintain friendships; share space effectively; interpret social cues; work in groups; and stay focused. These difficulties are often associated with children with ADD/ADHD; learning disabilities; high-functioning autism; Asperger syndrome; and other social challenges.

For over 40 years, Dr. Greenberg has worked with the educational needs of students and their families. As an educator, she has taught in public and private schools in Washington, DC; Prince Georges County, MD; Montgomery County, MD; and in the state of New Jersey. Dr. Greenberg is the founder and director of School Finders, serving the DC metro area, the nation, and countries abroad. She is also author and co-author of over thirty-seven books for children and teens including A Pioneer Woman's Memoirs, winner of the Notable Children's Book for 1996 award. Dr. Greenberg has a Ph.D. in Community Education.

The Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development provides therapy services and educational and recreational programs to thousands of children from birth to age 21 in central Pennsylvania living with congenital and acquired disabilities and developmental delays.
