Family and Individual Support Services (FISS) provide a continuum of services to individuals and their families including case management and resource identification and development to 425 families. The FISS coordinators support families with children in advocacy for educational or medical needs; parent education and training; as well as resource information and referral. Case Managers support individuals and their families through the transition from school to adult services. Resources for adults include the development of individualized plans; helping people manage their benefits and housing and accessing community resources.

The Auburn School grows the social and academic potential of bright students with social and communication challenges; such as Asperger's Syndrome/ASD. Serving K-8 students; Auburn supports the development of strong academic skills; social competency and pragmatic language in an engaging; small classroom environment.The Auburn School is a private school with two campuses; Herndon; Virginia (in it's 2nd year) and Silver Spring (opened fall 2010). A 3rd campus is planned to open in Baltimore in the fall of 2011.

The Auburn School is a new private coeducational day school opening in Northern Virginia. The Auburn School will offer a stimulating educational program (K-6) for intellectually engaged students with challenges in the areas of communication; socialization; language; and organization; such as Asperger's syndrome and NVLD. Auburn's program will simultaneously support the development of academic skills; social competency and pragmatic language in an engaging educational environment.
