If I Need Help is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization working to reunite those who are lost, disoriented or can’t self-advocate with their loved ones and caregivers. We use QR Code Technology that can be accessed by computer or cell phone to provide help, emergency iD and peace of mind. We offer a free online member profile, and Emergency Q&A that can be edited in real time and emailed or printed in an emergency. Our customizable iD products include iD cards, & wearables such as shoe/dog tags, patches, pins/clips, & apparel.

The IMAGE Center for people with disabilities is a center dedicated to new thinking about disability. Those of us with disabilities need an environment in which we can experiment and create – finding new ways and new solutions to what have seemed insurmountable problems. Whether it is a blind person learning to pour coffee or a person in a wheelchair trying to reach high cupboards, far too often, solutions go unexplored because we assume they don’t exist. Services include identifying resources for finding housing and shelters, partnering with local thrift stores for referrals for free clothing, household items, and furniture; classes on sex, health and dating for people with disabilities; independent living skills training; information and referral; individual and systems advocacy; programs for teen and young adults in transition; assistance transitioning from a nursing home into the community; assistive technology; and peer support groups. The IMAGE Center serves several Maryland counties (see map below). We serve people with all disabilities. We are a nonresidential Center for Independent Living and our staff are primarily people with disabilities living independent lives and teaching these skills to others. The Image Center in Towson is starting a 7-week training program for teens and young adults with disabilities (ages 14-25). Connect: GROW is a new program that helps students Get Ready for Opportunities to Work. The program is on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 pm April 5 through May 17. The cost is $140. This program has six areas of focus for students including: Session 1: Goal Setting (7 weeks ) Session 2: The Job Hunt (3 weeks) Session 3: First Impressions (3 weeks) Session 4: Professionalism at Work (5 weeks) Session 5: Managing Work & Personal Life (4 weeks) Session 6: Confidence on the Job (4 weeks) Students may register to participate in each training session 1x and may complete some or all of the sessions based on their preference and registration availability. At Imagination Stage, Everybody Plays! We offer classes in creative drama, acting, musical theatre, dance, and filmmaking for children of all abilities in both inclusive and peer-group settings. Our staff works with students and their families to identify and provide the most successful experience for each student. Additionally we offer a full season of professional theatre for families, which includes sensory-friendly performances designed to welcome those with autism or other sensory sensitivities. Ages served: 1 – 18(Please note: Arts Access (peer-group) classes are available to students up to age 21 provided they are currently enrolled in a high school or high school equivalent program).
