As a therapeutic educational consultant I work with families of children, teens and young adults to locate out of home residential placements for their family member. This may be an assessment stabilization program, a residential treatment center or a young adult program teaching life skills. I travel extensively to meet and evaluate the programs that I recommend. I also follow your child through treatment. I am also a certified parent coach and can help with managing expectations, healthy communication, and healthy boundary setting.

New Directions For Young Adults helps students with autism spectrum disorders, Asperger's, nonverbal learning disorder, ADD/ADHD and other learning disabilities transition from high school to college. We also help young adults who are not attending college transition from living with there parents to living independently.

New Directions for people with disabilities, inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing high- quality local, national, and international travel vacations and holiday programs for people with mild to moderate developmental disabilities. OUR MISSION New Directions believes that people who have disabilities deserve the same opportunities in life that others expect and enjoy. Our profoundly enriching travel programs expand the self-esteem of every traveler. Whole new worlds of understanding open for both participants and the general population. Through these unique programs, people with disabilities are increasingly understood, appreciated and accepted as important and contributing members of our world.
