ACTC realizes that every family is unique and the plan of intervention must meet the individual needs of every patient and family. Frequency and duration of interventions are considered on a case by case basis. Family members are encouraged to participate in the treatment sessions. A strong emphasis is placed on educating the patient and family. Therapy for children utilizes creative play to employ treatment interventions. Children guide the therapist through play activities as the therapist guides the child through desired movements and exercises.

Western Maryland Health System provides an expanding continuum of Behavioral Health Services to the tri-state region. Services are available for normal life transitions and stress reactions through conditions that require acute inpatient care. Services are provided for both psychiatric and addictions disorders and are available on an Emergency basis 24 hours per day in an Emergency Room setting; or in a traditional inpatient or outpatient environment.

The mission of the Women's Law Center of Maryland includes a focus on public policy, advocacy, and research to achieve systemic change. Using experience gained from work with clients and knowledge of legal issues and the legal community, the Women's Law Center identifies and addresses policy initiatives and emerging issues that have a broad impact on women's rights. We develop policy recommendations and work to create solutions that overcome barriers to women's equality.

We offer One on One Movement Method Playdates for children ages 2-7 on the Autism Spectrum. The Movement Method is a form of Kinetic Learning. We combine movement and the child's academic/life skill goals to make learning fun. We also offer themed playgroups.
