The CSAAC IEI (Intensive Early Intervention) Program provides children ages 18 months – 7 years with structured behavioral intervention based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Our In-Home Program provides therapy in the home; school; or day care setting and our Preschool Program provides therapy at our on-site classroom. All programming is overseen by licensed Psychologists and implemented by our Special Education Teachers and Instructional Technicians. We believe firmly in family participation in a child’s therapy program and also provide opportunities for parent training. Our one-to-one positive behavioral intervention focuses on building language; communication; social skills; academic skills; and self-help/daily living skills. Openings in the In-Home or Preschool programs are currently available.

TerpsEXCEED is a 2-year certificate program at the University of Maryland College Park for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who would not be able to apply and attend UMCP through a traditional pathway. This is a non degree program that culminates in a UMD certificate which includes a transcript of all students’ academic coursework (audit and P/F allowed) that is aligned with students’ career interests. In addition, students participate in career development activities (work experiences, internships, and paid jobs) as well as campus life activities (events, clubs, social groups, dorm life, and campus activities). TerpsEXCEED students are UMD students, just like typical incoming freshman – with student IDs and email accounts, access to UMD facilities, activities, and student organizations, and the choice to live on campus in dorms. Extra support is provided by TerpsEXCEED staff and a network of trained UMD student Peer Mentors to help students fully engage with academics and campus life. Cultural Autism Learning & Motivation (CALM) provides high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Our services include functional behavior assessments (FBAs), individualized treatment plans, skill development, parent collaboration, and social skills group.
