Shoe Train is an old-fashioned shoe store that specializes in customer service. The store is a legend in the community for staff that know how to size and fit shoes for "special needs feet."

Shore Legal Access is a nonprofit organization that supports and assists individuals and families who are unable to afford representation in civil legal matters and provides connections to community services. Our vision is for all people on the Eastern Shore to be empowered to resolve civil legal issues and our core values are integrity, service orientation, compassion, professionalism, respect, dignity and collaboration.

Shore Legal Access was founded as Mid-Shore Pro Bono in 2005 by a small group of dedicated and compassionate local judges and attorneys who recognized the overwhelming need for basic civil legal services for low income people. Shore Legal Access was the first regional pro bono organization in Maryland dedicated to connecting private attorneys with low income people in need of civil legal representation. Shore Legal Access holds clinics for clients in need of family, life planning, and consumer debt, housing, and expungement assistance.

Shore Legal Access connects over 3,000 clients with legal representation annually, and our network of volunteer attorneys provided $1.83 million in legal services in FY2019 alone. Our longstanding relationships with the courts, attorneys, and community partners enable us to reach the most disenfranchised residents of the Eastern Shore. Shore Legal Access works hand-in-hand with local organizations to break down cultural, geographic and economic barriers to the civil justice system for the area’s poorest residents.

Shore Legal Access is based in Easton, Maryland with a satellite office located in Salisbury.

Provides transportation services for customers who reside in rural areas (3/4 mile beyond a fixed route bus stop/transfer point) in Somerset; Wicomico and Worcester Counties for a fare of $5.00 per ride. Shore Ride provides curb to curb /door to door services for the elderly and disabled customers in Wicomico and Worcester Counties who qualify by submitting a Shore Ride Application for a fare of $4.00 per ride.

Shoreline Therapies is a neurodiversity-affirming speech-language and occupational therapy clinic serving neurodivergent children, teens, and adults in Montgomery County, MD and surrounding areas. We are committed to providing strengths-based therapies that focus on supporting the needs of neurodivergent individuals and their families. At Shoreline, we offer:

• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) therapy 
• ARTS® Avoidance Reduction Therapy for Stuttering
• Feeding and Eating Therapy 
• Future Foundations® (a "life skills" group giving adolescents and teens hands-on training for a wide range of skills to build independence)

At Shoreline, we reject the use of ABA or any approach that seeks to "modify behavior" because we understand the risk of harm they pose to autistic individuals. Because our therapies are rooted in the principles of Neurodiversity, we are committed to supporting the autonomy of autistic individuals at all times.
