Abelia Inc. is a Maryland-based Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) provider serving adults, including individuals transitioning from youth into adult services. We offer Personal Support, Community Development Services (CDS), and Employment Services, all designed to promote independence, community integration, and meaningful daily living. Our approach is person-centered, ensuring each individual receives tailored support that aligns with their goals and needs. Abilities Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that assists individuals with disabilities in Maryland to achieve their personal goals and reach their maximum potential. Abilities Network’s mission is to challenge the community to acknowledge the value and equality of people of all abilities. Our services, targeting children 1 to 21 years, are customized to offer individuals and families choices. We offer extensive training opportunities to families, child care providers, teachers and community members with the goal of fostering inclusion. Our programs support children, adults, families and seniors in services who are affected by a variety of at-risk factors, including a diagnosed disability, lack of environmental supports, low-socioeconomic levels, and limited knowledge about resources and/or the capacity to access them. Program services work directly with the child and their family to support the development of skills to live, play, and socialize with increased independence at home and in their communities. Abilities Network offers Intensive Individual Support Services, Family Training, respite care, and adult life planning for young adults on the autism spectrum.

The Autism Services program enables individuals with autism to function as meaningfully and independently as possible in their homes and community while providing their families with the strategies and resources necessary to assist their children in reaching their maximum potential. Autism Services provides individual support, respite care, family training, and transition planning into adult services. The Community and Employment Partners (CEP) program is designed to support adults with disabilities to live and work as independently as possible in their communities. CEP supports individuals interested in living independently to gain the life skills essential for finding and maintaining a job that fits their individual needs and skills, maintaining a home, budget, health, and happiness.  Project ACT -All Children Together--strives to make it possible for families, child care professionals, and other education and service agencies to collaborate in successfully including children of all abilities in community settings.
