Mission, initiatives, and services: The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation exists to raise awareness of Sudden, Unexpected Death of someone with EPilesy (SUDEP) and use it to grant comfort, hope and positivity to individuals and families living with epilepsy. Besides being the first SUDEP/Eplilepsy awareness organization to provide grants seizure response dogs, The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation is a leader in epilepsy support and SUDEP awareness, placing an emphasis on empowering patients and their families.
- Fundraising (STOMP annual SUDEP awareness walks)
- Community Bingo night every Sunday and Thursday night
- Funding trips through donations for epileptic patients and their families to attend Epilepsy Awareness Day and Expo at Disneyland each November.
- Providing grants for seizure response dogs and in-home monitoring equipment
- Cultivating public awareness through supporting and educating epileptic patients, their families, and their wider support circles and communities in this common yet often preventable phenomenon.
