Brainy Camps Association (BCA) is a consortium of residential camps; family camps and retreats for children with chronic health conditions. The health conditions served include high functioning autism spectrum disorders; Tourette syndrome; neurofibromatosis; epilepsy; sickle cell anemia; type 1 diabetes; heart disorders; Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. We also offer quarterly retreats for families with children at risk for obesity; family camps for young children with type 1 diabetes; a transitions camp for young adults; and online support groups for children and parents.

I am a sitter/nanny that comes to your place of residence to provide the care. I have 15 years of experience working with children from newborns to young teens as well as children with special needs. I'm currently working on my Associates in Early Childhood Special Education at Howard Community College. I have experience working in both Public and Private schools in Howard County from preschoolers to 5th grade. When I am doing a job I like to be outside, playing games, reading books, singing and dancing, and doing arts and crafts. I try to minimize the use of electronics with the children. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified. Before doing any job I always set up a time to meet and ask/answer questions with the family.

Breakthrough Behavior provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, speech therapy and psychological testing services to children with autism and related disabilities. Breakthrough Developmental Services offers behavioral therapy; consulting for families and schools; and behavior treatment plans focusing on the needs of the individual. We are available to provide training to parents; paraprofessionals; teachers; and other groups regarding developmental; intellectual and learning disabilities as well as challenging behaviors.We utilize the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and verbal behavior (VB) to develop behaviorally-based treatment and learning programs. Through interviews; observations; and assessments we construct individually tailored program and plans to meet your unique needs. Our intervention plans take into account current abilities as well as future goals.
