Linganore Counseling and Wellness, LLC, is a team of skilled mental health professionals dedicated to helping families, individuals, couples and children through some of life's biggest challenges. We treat individuals and families suffering from depression, anxiety, marital discord, addictions, and the behavioral or learning challenges of childhood and adolescence. Our target areas of service include New Market, Lake Linganore, Frederick, Urbana, Mt. Airy, and Walkersville, Maryland. Our practitioners provide marriage counseling, individual counseling, family counseling and group counseling. We offer a wide range of expertise and modalities. We provide our services in an attractive relaxed setting and we strive to offer appointments quickly.

Linwood School provides academic, vocational, and the option of day and/or residential services to students with autism and related developmental disabilities. Students are taught through a multidisciplinary approach in a therapeutic environment. Most require small class sizes with support from para-educators and student assistants at an intensity level individualized for the student. Instructional strategies include a variety of methods customized to meet the individualized needs of each student. These methods include Applied Behavioral Analysis, Verbal Behavior, Picture Exchange Communication, assistive technology sensory integration, and visually aided and computer aided instruction. Donald Litman is a parent of 2 children on the autism spectrum.  He has been helping families with children with learning differences for over twenty-five years. He founded Litman Law to serve the needs of professionals, families and small businesses. Donald has been a lawyer since 1981, and practices law in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

After finishing college at age 19, Donald went on to graduate from law school. Donald also holds an advanced law degree in Forensic Sciences from Antioch Law School, now the University of the District of Columbia, and had his dissertation published on Food and Drug Law in a national law journal.

Donald has been admitted to practice before several state and federal courts, including the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Military Appeals, U.S. Claims Court, U.S. Court of International Trade, the Temporary Emergency Court of Appeals for the U.S, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Montgomery Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association.

Our Mission

Little Angels Service Dogs lives and operates by the motto “Changing Lives…One Dog at a Time”. This is our driving idea, and the core reason of why we do what we do. We believe dogs have an innate ability to alter an individual’s take on life – both physically and mentally. Our mission is to grab ahold of that innate ability and teach dogs to use it in a way to empower and provide independence to our recipients who are living with disabilities; who otherwise would be completely dependent on others. We are constantly amazed at what a dog is able to accomplish, and therefore think all disabilities deserve an opportunity of being assisted by a canine. We don’t think one disability outranks another, so whether it’s hidden or visible, common or uncommon, we believe a dog can help and we want to make that happen.

Little Corner Academy is a preschool curriculum based half day program that provides a structured learning environment for children ages 2-5. We provide structured activities to promote social interactions, play, speech, language development, fine and gross motor skills, and sensory-motor development in children with or without special needs. Little Corner Academy is led by a highly trained and experienced special educator with integrated support of licensed SLPs, OTs, and Psychologists.
