Kaja Weeks; B.A.; is a classically trained singer and music educator with additional professional training in infant/child development. Certified as a DIR-based Music Educator and Floortime Practitioner; her private practice is at the interdisciplinary clinic ITS - DTS (Developmental Therapy Services Inc.) in Kensington; MD. She serves children with special needs and their parents through an innovative developmentally-based music program that integrates Floortime strategies with music; particularly singing. Ms. Weeks is the author of numerous publications on music and early development; Past President of the Greater Washington; DC Chapter of ECMMA (Early Childhood Movement Association) and a Fellow of the Profectum Academy.

Pets on Wheels is a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer organization; which provides therapy animal visits to those in institutional settings across Maryland. Pets on Wheels provides animal assisted therapy visits to hospitals; nursing homes; veteran's hospitals; assisted living facilities; child welfare group homes; shelters; substance abuse recovery centers; as well facilities for the physically or mentally challenged.

Phillips School; Laurel is a 10 month day program that offers special education and therapeutic services to elementary; middle and high school students who have such severe emotional; learning and/or behavioral disabilities that they cannot function effectively in a general education environment. Phillips uses a behavioral approach within a therapeutic milieu to help all students achieve academic; emotional and behavioral growth.
